These twin engine karts can go up to 70mph and thats fast in an language. Especially when you are only inches from the ground and you can feel every vibration as you race round the 930 metre track at full speed. This is a phenomenal pursuit for Hen parties that are looking for something wild. If the track is wet it really is a case of skill and determination to keep the kart on the track The best thrill to be had with your clothes on and you can still smell burning rubber.
The secret is to take a couple of laps to get the feel of the kart then its GERONIMO! Stay in front and concentrate on keeping that kart moving to reach the flag first leaving the rest inhaling your fumes
Where are the Outdoor Go Karting Courses?
Its on the outskirts of Edinburgh(about 30 minutes from the centre of town). Grab a few taxis to get there.

All race wear is supplied other than any nappies which you might need at these speeds. Safety instruction is given before racing and after a couple of practice laps the race is on. The karting commences with a safety briefing and practice laps are supervised for safety, followed by the 3 heats.
The grand final is a free for all to reach the winning line and collect the prizes. Minimum number of 16 or maximum of 32 Drivers and lasts several hours depending on party size. There is also an American diner where you can top up your fuel tank after the racing.
No driving licence is need to drive these.

Please remember when back in the car that you are not still in a kart or you will end up with skid marks on the way home and your passengers might poo themselves on the corners.

70 MPH is very fast in these karts and will cause you cheeks to clench(all 4 of them).
Useful Tip
Go easy on the booze the previous night as you will need to be wide awake to handle these beasties. These will get you revved up for the nights party ahead and are rated very high as a brilliant way to clean any wax out your ears. Not for anyone with a dodgy stomach or of a nervous disposition as these are nerve tingling pure unadulterated action.Top of Page
