Clay pigeon Shooting

Clay pigeon shooting, an activity often associated with a country home is a very popular sport for stag weekends in Edinburgh. It is one of a host of other stag activities along with Honda Pilots, Mountain Biking and Paintballing, that one can choose from in Edinburgh.
A stag weekend in Edinburgh is the ideal time to have a try at the numerous things one has always wanted to. Who has not wanted to try out his marksmanship? What better time than a stag weekend to prove oneself the best shot? For those who wish to participate just for fun, it is the ideal sport and will make it a great day out for a group.
Most clay pigeon shooting grounds cater for everyone from the absolute beginner to the professional shooter. They have unique layouts and the shooter can try out numerous different traps which throw the clay in a different direction, speed and angle to simulate different 'game'.
Often described as "golf with a shotgun", the original idea behind sporting clays was to create an experience that more closely reflects actual hunting conditions.
An expert coach will guide the shooters throughout the session and will take them through the finer points of the sport. By the end of the event one may even be able to hit the clay even if every body doesn't become a hotshot.
Clay shooting is an exhilarating and highly satisfying sport. Clay shooting can be a half-day event, or combined with other activities. Whatever you choose you'll get a lot out of the session and everybody should leave happy that guns have been involved on the stag weekend.....click here to know more about Clay Pigeon Shooting
