Indoor Go Karting in Edinburgh
Karting is a stag must- have racing day at speeds of up to 40 MPH on a huge indoor track thats been designed for speed and competition. I can tell you that 40 mph pretty damn fast when you are virtually sitting on the ground.
All the big racing car drivers started learning in karts before getting on the race track. If its good enough for them its good enough for us. Who knows a new Schumacher might be born on the day? This will get you and the guys revved up for a great night on the town and the winner will be bragging about his skill and judgment that lead him round the track to win.(buy him a few drinks and he should quieten down).
The type of go kart racing you'll do will depend on your stag group size. Normally it will consist of practice laps, timed heats, semi finals then a grand prix final. The winning driver also gets presented with a trophy to remember his victory by. Fill it with Whisky and pass it round the guys later
Where are the Indoor Go Karting sites?
On the outskirts of Edinburgh (about 30 minutes from the centre of town). Grab a few taxis to get there.

All race gear is supplied other than the nappies which you might need at these speeds.
Fully safety instruction is given prior to racing and after a couple of practice laps the race is on.
Minimum of 8 drivers for the booking
There are different events depending on the size of the party and availability.

You need to remember when you get back in your car that it is not a kart or you will end up with skid marks on the way back home and your passengers might poo themselves on the corners. [steady on - ed]
Useful Tip before you Kart
Don't have too much jungle juice the night before as you need your wits. Turning up drunk is not a good idea as they wont let you kart if they believe that you are dangerous.
Book well in advance as this is a very popular stag activity and time slots fill quick.
